CRYOVAC Shrink Film

SEALED AIR® brand shrink films are strong and durable. SEALED AIR® brand and CRYOVAC® brand shrink films wrap a wide range of product shapes, weights, and sizes, from large consumer goods, to oddly shaped and smaller "pick and pack" parcels. With enhanced seal strength and durability, our films perform better than significantly thicker competitive materials. CRYOVAC® brand films incorporate up to 50 discrete micro-layers compared to conventional shrink films (typically just one to five layers). Cling Film

Lidding Film

CRYOVAC® brand lidding films for food hermetically seal to flexible, foam, or rigid plastic trays. Gas flushing creates the desired high and low oxygen modified atmosphere that substantially prolongs the freshness of the product. During refrigerated storage and retail display, our lid films remain fog-free, providing a full view of the product that greatly enhances the merchandising appeal of both fresh and processed food products.

Shrink Film

Shrink films is designed to pair with a bottom tray to protect products such as poultry, smoked and processed meats, and a variety of prepared foods. Overwrap films offer strength and protection against abuse. The leak-proof closure and hermetic sealing add extra strength to the package. These thin shrink film with high abuse resistance, providing a skin-tight presentation throughout distribution to retail and consumers. Designed to run on end-seal equipment, this technology produces three high-integrity seals for a virtually leak-proof package. Additionally, the use of end seals creates a larger print surface area, allowing processors greater flexibility in packaging design.

Skin Top Film

CRYOVAC® brand vacuum skin packaging is well suited for high-quality, case-ready products. The "second skin" helps preserve the freshness and extends the shelf life of the product. Materials used to create our vacuum skin packaging have been engineered to seal closely and tightly and remain free of tension, so product presentation remains optimal and holds firmly in place without the need to worry about leaks or purge.

Thermoforming Film

The forming webs are used with MAP, vacuum packaging, and other flexible packaging applications. These tough, abuse-resistant materials form easily and are compatible with a variety of non-forming webs and are used in a variety of applications. The roll stock films are used to create flexible, semi-rigid, or rigid top or bottom components in food packaging. CRYOVAC® brand barrier forming webs offer passive or active barrier properties — passive to provide oxygen and moisture protection, active to scavenge odors. Typically used in fresh or frozen applications in which a barrier is essential to protect or extend the shelf life of a product.

Preformed Trays

With our preformed food packaging trays, you can create all types of case-ready packaging for overwrap, MAP, and vacuum skin applications. Trays are available in PET, PP, HIPS, C-PET materials. Preformed MAP trays are made from a high barrier, polypropylene material that can help extend shelf life while increasing production efficiencies. Hermetically sealed with CRYOVAC® brand barrier lid film, the final output is a leak-proof package. This solid barrier tray / lidstock combination provides a MAP system that nearly doubles packaging speeds, eliminates leakage, and substantially reduces labor costs. Preformed Vacuum Skin Packing trays are made from a high barrier, polypropylene material that can help extend shelf life and maintain flavor. When paired with one of our vacuum skin films the result is a finished package that has removed oxygen, sealed in freshness, and locked in juices within leak-proof package that is freezer ready.
