The tray sealer model Athena is a fully automatic, robust and reliable machine which is completely built in stainless steel. The automatic sealing machine model Athena is capable of packaging in modified atmosphere any combination of compatible trays and top film studied for such applications. Thanks to the Athena’s strong stainless steel structure, easy maintenance and conformity to hygienic requirements, this machine is ideal for use in small and medium sized companies. One of the more important aspects of this machine is the possibility to use the moulds of the semi-automatic machine model Olympia on the Athena.

The max sealing area is 266 mm x 424 mm when the machine is equipped with the M.A.P. system (V/G) and 285 mm x 464 mm in case of sealing only (ST). The number of cavities of the mould depends on the tray dimensions. The upper film unwinding and rewinding is automatic thanks to an integrated and motorized roll, thus guaranteeing high precision in the film centering. The length of the film to unwind can be set within the PLC in order to reduce the waste film. The Siemens PLC allows to save up to 10 programs for sealing different trays, with or without modified atmosphere. The diagnosis and alarm system allows a quick and precise check of the machine functions. The modular design allows the integration of many different optionals:

The aluminium mould, is made each time according to the customer’s requests in order to obtain absolute precision in the details of the packaging.
